How GooGaia researches, scores, and updates products.

Our goal is to make each recommendation understandable. This policy explains what our pages represent, what they do not represent, and how commercial relationships are kept separate from scoring.

What counts as a product signal?

A product signal is one structured evidence input used to build or check a GooGaia product profile. Signals can include documented specifications, safety or recall checks, source records, availability facts, and recurring owner-feedback patterns.

Signal totals are not the same as customer-review totals and do not mean GooGaia physically tested every product. Several signals may come from one cited source; captured owner-review counts are reported separately when they are available.

Sources and evidence

  • Manufacturer specifications and product documentation.
  • Retailer listings used for availability, specifications, and owner-feedback context.
  • Public safety, certification, recall, and regulatory information when relevant and available.
  • Recurring themes from owner reviews, summarized as patterns rather than quoted as individual endorsements.

Research boundaries

GooGaia performs source-based product research and structured comparison. We do not imply hands-on testing unless a specific page explicitly identifies a hands-on test and explains how it was conducted.

Automated tools may help organize product information and recurring review themes. Published pages are expected to identify their sources, expose their scoring factors, and avoid unsupported safety or performance claims.

Scoring independence

Brands cannot purchase a higher Parent Score or a better ranking position. Affiliate commission rates are not scoring inputs.

Products are assessed with the same category framework. A high score does not mean a product is appropriate for every child, home, vehicle, budget, or use case.

Updates and corrections

Product details, availability, prices, recalls, and guidance can change. Review dates are displayed on product pages, and material corrections should be incorporated when verified.

To report an error, send the page URL, the statement in question, and a reliable supporting source to hello@googaia.com.
