Unlike other popular diaper pails that force you to buy their expensive proprietary refill cartridges, the Ubbi uses any standard 13-gallon trash bag. This saves so much money in the long run! I was shocked when I learned how much those special refills cost for other brands - it's essentially a subscription tax on parents. With the Ubbi, I can buy whatever trash bags are on sale or in bulk, and I'm not locked into one brand's ecosystem.
